OMG i am so worried about the work load i have been given or we all have been given i think i need to get onto it immediately! i am also tryin to organise a meeting to get our events and things started for our exhibition cos i think our year is slacking, i think this is down to us all not really getting to know each other until this last year!!

OMG also forgot to say my external hard drive has decided to die on me :( which is proving kinda difficult seen as it had all my past work on it shitty i no! but o well! im also having to borrow one then get another for next year! cant believe it happened this late in the game darn it!

I'm going to start my interactive trailer tomorrow bit confused with it all really finding it all abit difficult, for example making an invisible button and to make the button have a sound. Don't get me wrong i am finding the tutorials a great help but still i'm just not getting the knack of it maybe this is why i didn't choose animation, or games or web to come to that! The worst thing is that i have to do another production file, atm i feel like there is a heavy load on our shoulders for the 19th of may, i think i would of benefitted the seminars on flash CS3 a little earlier to be honest, then i would have had a better and clearer understanding of what it entails. Also i kinda wish we had gone through all the things that were meant to be in our EPT a little earlier u know we have the brief and assessment criteria, but maybe if like we had done with Jules today gone through it in simpler terms i would of got it, me not being very tech savvy and all!! Oh well thats my bitch and rant and rave over!

Term Three

Its now term three :) Goodtimes. and i have to edit my 6 min film and write a three thousand word essay arghh! also i'm annoyed as my best piece of work so far may have gone which is stupid of me. My pilot was saved onto my hard drive and it has decided to make some random noises and not show up on my mac!! And it was also on my USB stick and the one on there wont work! so i'm going to have to get someone to help by calling someone to come and have a look at it!! :( Badtimes.

The nerves are kicking in now as i'm getting ready for my assessment. I really do find it terrifying working on your own but at the same time it's getting easier it's just the asking of questions that i struggle with i find it really hard to put what i want to say into words, then i stumble, stutter and eventually fall!! i'm hoping it is all as good as i hope! i think myself i have really progressed in the sense that i now know how to use lights, i know how to do the sound, camera. I also realised that if you want to get that good quality it's better of you get people who speacialise in there own areas to help you. The sound quality this time round was amazing, The camera work was brilliant, there was hardly any shadowing, which that was due to me taking out a set of lights and trying them out for myself before we shot. i'm excited!

Editting

I can do it, i actually taught myself on premier and im not that bad if i do say so myself. I enjoyed doing this alot more than the directing, although fitting clips into 40secs is a massive struggle. But i have done it. I am finding that i am having to rule each role out as i go along. Directing is out but editting is not bad. I have really found i enjoy doing the arts production side of things, such as props sets, hair makeup, clothes. I know thats not so much to do this with this course but i think i have found my calling, i'm guessing people will think big air head come to do a degree and wants to hair and makeup ha!! but it's not just that it's also the prosthetics, thinking up of different ideas to make something happen really intrigues me. Well i'm still quite puzzeled but i know what i am becoming interested in now and what i'm not.

Filming was great except, my Actress who was supposed to play Angelina didn't turn up :( but thank you very much Sherri took on the role.

I found i really enjoyed it, but i don't think i would choose to be a director again anytime soon, I'm rubbish Haha! i'm too sheepish and not outspoken enough 'even though i have a massive mouth' ha. I think i didn't enjoy it because i don't feel like i can take full control, and also i like someone to tell me what i have to do and how they would like it. i dunno whether it was nerves or what just was something different i suppose.

OH NOOOOO!!

Right My Marianne has now dropped out at last minute i emailed and tx her to see if everything was ok and she had somethng which i won't discuss but was important soooo looking for another Marianne and also for Crew i had me, sherri, Les, sej and Owais but Les is unsure if he can do them dates so i think i am going to postpone and put it back to the tuesday 26th and the wednesday the 27th of feb, the n that also gives me time to find a new Marianne i have emailed a few women from starnow it's just playing the waiting game really. I am also going to ring around colleges and schools see if any tutors are interested. wish me luck!
