Single-Camera Video Production By Robert b. Musburger

The Book i chose was 'Single-Camera Video Production By Robert b. Musburger', the paragraph that i chose to read was 'The Editing Function'.

'Most editors believe the truly creative portion of video production takes place in the editing room, and many directors and producers agree. Video editing is a function that requires a combination of technical and aesthetic knowledge and unlimited patience', 'A good editor knows the limits of the equipment and can use those limits without creating technical problems.', 'Editing is often a long, tedious process that stretches even the most patient people to their limit.'

This relates to me as i believe editing is one of the biggest jobs in media and one that recieves the most pressure, if i was a producer or director i would be relying on the editor to give me what i have invisaged and described to him. I agree with the quote 'Editing is often a long, tedious process'. I like the idea that he explains that even the most patient people can get stressed and wokred to their limit, this makes me feel better about the wokr i do and how stressed and worked up i can get, and wonder if what im doing is worthwhile, btu to know that other people feel this too even the best editors is great.
